Acceptable Use Policy
What you may not do with the Plutobee Services, including AI-specific restrictions. Effective May 30, 2026.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Plutobee Services and is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service. Capitalised terms have the meaning in the Terms.
1. Purpose
This AUP protects the Services, Plutobee, our customers and the public. Violations may result in suspension or termination of access as set out in the Terms, in addition to any liability under applicable law.
2. General principles
You will use the Services only for lawful purposes, in accordance with the Documentation, the Terms and this AUP. You are responsible for the actions of users of your account and for any Customer Content you submit.
3. Prohibited conduct
You will not, and will not permit others to:
- violate any applicable law, regulation or third-party right (including intellectual property, privacy and publicity rights);
- infringe, dilute, misappropriate, or disclose without authorisation any trade secret or confidential information;
- introduce malware, viruses, ransomware, worms, trojans or other malicious code;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services or any system or network without prior written authorisation from Plutobee;
- defeat or attempt to defeat authentication, access controls, rate limits, or other security measures;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code or underlying models, except to the extent expressly permitted by law;
- access the Services to build a competitive product, benchmark or copy features;
- use automated means (including bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Services other than through documented public interfaces and within published rate limits;
- resell, sublicense, lease, time-share or otherwise commercially exploit the Services without Plutobee's prior written consent;
- misrepresent your identity, affiliation or the source of any communication.
4. Prohibited content and use cases
You will not use the Services to create, store, distribute or facilitate content or activities that:
- are illegal, defamatory, harassing, threatening, abusive or that incite violence;
- exploit, sexualise or endanger minors, including any form of child sexual abuse material;
- promote terrorism, organised crime, weapons of mass destruction or genocide;
- infringe intellectual property or facilitate large-scale copyright infringement;
- constitute spam, phishing, fraud, deceptive marketing or unsolicited bulk messaging;
- collect Personal Data without a lawful basis or in violation of applicable privacy law;
- impersonate any person or entity, or generate non-consensual intimate imagery or deepfakes intended to deceive;
- generate or facilitate the development of biological, chemical, radiological or nuclear weapons, malicious code, or instructions for serious physical harm;
- process special categories of Personal Data without appropriate legal basis and additional safeguards.
5. AI-specific restrictions
- You will not use AI features to make consequential decisions about individuals (employment, credit, housing, insurance, healthcare, education or criminal justice) without meaningful human review, transparency to the affected individual and conformance to applicable law.
- You will not attempt to extract, steal or otherwise misappropriate model weights, training data or system prompts.
- You will not use AI features to generate content that violates third-party rights or applicable law, including content that misleads the public about important political, public-health or election-related topics.
- You will appropriately disclose AI involvement to your end users where required by law or industry standards.
6. Security and network use
- You will not interfere with the proper functioning of the Services, including by overloading, flooding, mail-bombing or otherwise disrupting performance.
- You will not use the Services to scan, probe or attack systems you do not own or have written permission to test.
- You will promptly report any suspected security incident or vulnerability to security@plutobee.com.
7. Reporting violations
Report violations of this AUP to legal@plutobee.com. For security issues specifically, use security@plutobee.com with reasonable detail to enable triage.
8. Enforcement
Plutobee may, in its reasonable discretion and consistent with the Terms, investigate any suspected violation, remove or disable access to violating content, suspend or terminate accounts and report violations to law enforcement. Plutobee will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify Customer before suspending Services for a violation, except in cases of imminent harm, ongoing security incidents or legal requirements.
9. Changes
We may update this AUP. Material changes will be communicated as set out in the Terms.
