Accessibility Statement
Our commitment, conformance status, known limitations and how to give feedback. Effective May 30, 2026.
Plutobee is committed to making its digital properties accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We work to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the relevant requirements of the EN 301 549 standard (which incorporates WCAG 2.1 AA), Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act, and the European Accessibility Act.
1. Scope
This statement applies to plutobee.com and to product surfaces that we operate, including JaxSuite, File.business, TroyFunds, FLfiling and the Plutobee Hive. Where third-party content is embedded (for example, social media widgets, third-party videos or external sign-in providers), the accessibility of that content is the responsibility of the third party.
2. Conformance status
The current website is designed to be substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Substantially conformant" means that some parts of the content may not yet fully meet the standard. Known limitations are listed in Section 5.
3. Measures we take
- Accessibility considered during design (colour contrast, typography, focus order, target size).
- Semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, descriptive link text and alternative text for non-decorative images.
- Keyboard navigation across all interactive components and skip-to-content where applicable.
- Screen-reader testing with VoiceOver (macOS, iOS), NVDA (Windows), TalkBack (Android) at major releases.
- Automated accessibility checks (axe-core, Lighthouse, Pa11y) run in continuous integration.
- Accessibility audits at planned intervals and after material redesigns, with documented findings.
- Plain language and consistent labelling in user interface copy.
4. Compatibility
Our sites are designed to be compatible with the latest two major versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge on macOS, Windows, iOS and Android. We support the most recent stable versions of VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS and TalkBack. The sites are not designed for browsers older than five years.
5. Known limitations
We continuously work to improve accessibility. As of the Effective Date, known limitations include:
- Some interactive canvas-based visualisations (e.g., the Hive World map) provide reduced functionality for keyboard-only and screen-reader users. We offer text-based equivalents on request.
- A small number of legacy blog post images may lack alt text; we are auditing and updating these.
- Time-based media (videos) may not always include captions or audio descriptions; we are rolling out captions across our library.
If you encounter additional limitations, please report them as described in Section 7.
6. Assessment approach
Plutobee uses a combination of self-evaluation, automated testing in continuous integration, and external accessibility consultancy engagements for major surfaces. Our most recent independent assessment was conducted in Q1 2026. Documentation is available to clients on request under NDA.
7. Feedback and alternative formats
If you experience an accessibility barrier on any Plutobee property, please tell us. We aim to acknowledge within two (2) business days and to provide an alternative format or substantive response within ten (10) business days.
Email accessibility@plutobee.com with a brief description of the issue, the page URL and any assistive technology you were using.
8. Enforcement procedures
Where you have used the feedback channel and remain dissatisfied, you may have a right to refer the matter to your jurisdiction's enforcement body (for example, in the United Kingdom: the Equality and Human Rights Commission; in Estonia: the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority; in the United States: the Department of Justice).
9. Approval
This statement was prepared by Plutobee on the Effective Date and approved by the Plutobee Accessibility Lead.
