Industries

Engineering for systems that move physical goods.

Warehouses do not stop for a deploy. Mobile coverage at the dock is lossy. Routes are recomputed in real time. Customs delays compound. We build software that behaves correctly when the network is bad and the input is wrong.

Trade compliance

EAR, ITAR, OFAC denied parties screening. HTS classification accuracy. License management. C-TPAT supply chain security alignment.

FDA / USDA for food and pharma logistics

FSMA 204 traceability, cold-chain documentation, electronic records.

Carrier and broker licensing

FMCSA registration data, MC and DOT numbers, insurance verification automation.

TSA Indirect Air Carrier

For air freight forwarders, security training and screening compliance.

Hazmat (49 CFR)

DOT hazmat shipping document generation, restrictions enforcement at booking time.

SOC 2 + ISO 27001

Increasingly required by shipper RFPs above a revenue threshold.

Where we engage

Common engagements in this vertical.

TMS (Transportation Management)

Carrier sourcing, rate management, booking, tracking, settlement.

WMS (Warehouse Management)

Inbound, putaway, picking, packing, outbound, cycle counting. Voice and scanner integration.

Last-mile delivery

Route optimization with capacity and time windows, driver mobile, proof of delivery, dynamic re-sequencing.

Multi-modal orchestration

Ocean, rail, truck, air. Visibility across legs. Exception management.

Customs & brokerage

Entry filing automation, HTS classification with ML assist, duty calculation, drawback.

IIoT and asset tracking

GPS, BLE, RFID, sensor integration. Cold chain telemetry. Geofencing.

Start a brief →
Our previous TMS provider could not handle the customs filing complexity for our European-to-Asia lanes. Plutobee shipped a tariff engine and document-of-record system that we now use across all six trade lanes. Zero customs holds in the eighteen months since.

Frequently asked

Vertical questions, answered.

The questions buyers in this vertical ask in week one.

How do you handle offline-first operations in warehouses?+

Local-first sync with conflict resolution. Operations continue without network; reconcile when connectivity returns. We design idempotent event streams so a re-synced scan does not double-count inventory.

Can you integrate with our existing carrier APIs?+

Yes. We have shipped integrations with FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS, Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, and 40+ regional carriers. Resilient to carrier API downtime with graceful degradation.

What about EDI?+

Full EDI support including X12 (204, 210, 214, 856, 940, 945, 990, 997) and EDIFACT for international. We work with VANs (OpenText, IBM Sterling) or direct AS2.

How do you handle hazmat shipping?+

DOT 49 CFR-compliant document generation, IATA DGR for air, IMDG for ocean. Restrictions enforced at booking time so non-conforming shipments cannot be created.

Can you support real-time visibility platforms (Project44, FourKites)?+

Yes. We integrate with Project44, FourKites, MacroPoint, and have built custom visibility platforms for shippers with non-standard requirements.
